Brandy Hurley

Hello! My name is Brandy Hurley. I teach 1st & 2nd Grade General Studies. This is my sixth year teaching at the Silver Academy.

I received my Elementary Education degree from Shippensburg University. I taught in the Harrisburg school district for 2 years before beginning my current position here. I earned a Masters Degree from Shippensburg University in Curriculum and Instruction and I am certified as a Reading Specialist and Literacy Coach.

At home, my 2 year old son keeps me busy and I have someone new to read to!
