It's hard to believe that this is my 34st year of teaching Judaic Studies at the Silver Academy. I graduated Queens College (N.Y.) with a B.A. in psychology, studied Jewish education at Torah Umesorah's Teacher Training Institute and received my rabbinic ordination (Yoreh Yoreh Yodin Yodin) from the Rabbinical Seminary of America where I remained to study and mentor younger students at the Seminary's Rabbinical Graduate Institute (Kolel Ner David). After 11 years at R.S.A., I taught for 2 years at the Wisconsin Institute for Torah Studies in Milwaukee before coming to Harrisburg. My wife, Varda, and I are the parents of 8 Silver Academy graduates.
